Dear ,
Stay grounded this winter
As another year draws to a close, does the thought of winding down for Christmas fill you with panic as you race to meet end-of-year business deadlines? Or relief that you can finally enjoy a well-earned break from navigating the entrepreneurial journey?

Or perhaps this year you're planning a hedgehog routine and will use the time to hibernate and emerge when it's all over, refreshed and full of energy to focus on innovation and growth in 2025? Whatever your thing, this winter is a good time to get grounded both in ourselves and our businesses, as big change takes place around us.
In our final newsletter of the year, we’re sharing four key tips from the Wyseminds community and highlighting key programmes, events, courses, and resources from the past year, all designed to help you discover and maximise the value you bring in the year ahead.

Tip 1: Money Matters from Sandra Boekhoudt
So many women find discussing money difficult and yet it’s such an integral part of running a successful business.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Sandra Boekhoudt, founder of Wealthy Wise Women to run a course that takes a different approach.
Sandra’s tip… instead of looking at finances purely from a numbers perspective, try looking at the whole – you, your values and purpose and joining these strands together with your numbers so there’s no separation of the two. Sandra seeks to challenge the reactive style many people have towards money management and entrepreneurs on previous money workshops have given incredible feedback. We're looking forward to running this programme again.
The money course begins in January. Want to hear about it first, register for a free account here to be part of 2025’s first cohort.

Tip 2: Back in line: straightening out crinkles for a stronger 2025 – with Henk Jansen and me
Henk’s tip… the importance of balance. Business growth is the natural consequence when the 4 key growth drivers are aligned and united by your business story.
Getting your story straight is a fundamental part of the online business growth programme, Your Journey. For anyone feeling weighed down by the demands of their organisation. Henk and I outline practical tips to get things back in balance and trigger the return of your enthusiasm.
There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain – why not step off the hamster wheel and opt for some professional development? Check out more in our free introductory offer.

My tip is, as a founder, it's important to align yourself with the role that brings out your best by living your values and staying true to what drives you.
Entrepreneurship is not just a venture; it’s a career and a journey. Like any career, it requires you to continuously advance yourself, building knowledge, growing personally, and creating the necessary space between you and your business to enable you to lead it into the future.

Tip 4: Strive for new perspectives
There’s nothing like freshening up the mindset for the New Year. Our new blog site was launched earlier this year to showcase our expertise, share educational content and build like-minded communities. Here are some pieces from across 2024 that we hope will help you achieve a new way of seeing things.
The 2024 Summer Olympics got us looking at the importance of passing the hero baton to your customer. Making the customer the hero of your business means it’s easier to ensure your product or service makes their life better, not just once but on an ongoing basis. Download our customer persona (3.1) workbook here, part of the Wyseminds Your Journey programme. Are you investing in yourself as a founder? Thinking about entrepreneurship as a viable career will help you appreciate the importance of your own professional development that often takes a back seat as you focus on growing your business. We created two distinct programmes designed to encourage women business leaders to nurture their own growth as much as their company’s.
- Growth begins with you: From purpose to profit
- Growth begins with you: Your relationship with money and success (coming soon)
And finally, shifting the mist of your to-do list. Why there’s no better time to get you and your business back in sync.
At Wyseminds we always have something to celebrate Before we sign off, we’d like to mention how happy we are to have played a part in helping the success of Agnes Weber and her company MENDED.
Agnes joined the Lift Off programme when she launched her alterations and repairs business. This year MENDED won the "Retail Newcomer of the Year 2024-2025" award in the Netherlands.
The company focuses on keeping clothes in play across Europe through a skilled network of tailors. Following Agnes’s completion of Lift Off, her company has gone from strength to strength, turning a "dusty trade" into an award-winning proposition for brands. We are happy to have played a part in MENDED’s success and look forward to celebrating many more incredible milestones. Learning to thrive in 2025 We hope all our programmes, courses, free tools and resources are helping women entrepreneurs build a stockpile of resilience and agility. These aren’t just business buzzwords, they’re essential to staying different in a world that so often forces us to conform.
Just as animals adapt their behaviour to endure harsh winters, so too must business founders use this time of the year wisely to embrace change or switch strategies to navigate uncertainty, rapid technological advances and/or evolving customer requirements. As ever, the coaching team at Wyseminds are on hand to provide insight and support. Trust in the value you bring and learn to thrive in 2025. Fancy a cuppa? If any of the topics in this newsletter resonate, why not book a virtual Christmas coffee and see how we can help.
